Celtic Salt

Organic Grey Celtic Sea Salt is a marvellous and much talked about commodity at the moment, when taken in your foods and as a rehydration tool its health benefits are amazing.

Organic Grey Celtic Sea salt as in its name has a greyish hue to it and can seem a little moist, this is absolutely normal and part of its make up.  It is a very natural and pure form of salt taken directly from source, in this case France.  The grey Celtic Sea Salt contains a slightly higher mineral content than its white counterpart due to the clay from the salt flats its harvested with, the clay ionises the minerals in the salt making it even more beneficial, it is hand harvested using traditional Celtic methods. The salt is naturally air dried in clay ponds and gathered with wooden tools. The Celtic Sea Salt contains 84 elements found in sea water, including 3 magnesiums, with no anti-caking additives or bleach.

For maximum hydration of the body you can take a grain of the salt and place on your tongue and drink a glass of water with it, you can let it dissolve on your tongue if you wish, and it will allow the water to efficiently travel to the whole body for absorption where it is pulled into your cells by the magnesiums. (Magnesium is also essential for muscles, nerves, bones and blood sugar levels).  You can do this 8 times a day if you wish, and this will allow your body to make effective use of the minerals, as it replaces the minerals you have already lost in sweat, urine and bowel movements. You can add the salt at the end of the cooking process in meals. Cooking does not kill minerals.
